Open Question: Is there any kind of channel foot-switch for synthesizers like you have for guitars?

For example on guitar you can get them to save different amp settings making it easy to change it onstage with no fiddling. Can you get something like this I can plus my synthesizers into so I don't have the hassle of scrolling through all the banks looking for the patch and rather just put my foot down on the right channel and have it done so I could also do it during songs as well if need be. I am currently using a Novation UltraNova and a MicroKorg.

  • Open Question: Novation X station says "No control" Help?

    Novation X station says "No control" Help?
    Hey everyone. Managed to pick up a second hand x station 25 for 80 bucks in a pawn shop. I have no real experience with synthesizers but I power it up and it says "No Control" And I cant get to any of the sounds or any of the banks. It says Native instruments absynth 5 along with a few other hard and software synths but it wont let me get to my banks and programs...Can I reset the whole synth somehow? Ive tried hitting every button and whatnot and sometimes when I power it up the play button will be lit and other times ill power it up and the button wont be lit and even if i try hitting it when it isnt lit it wont light up or turn on. If i try to select and programs banks or pages it hass have to do with midi channel and midi stuff. The only time it doesnt say no control is when isll say "Native In. Absynth5...Is it cause its in a software type thing and was being used for midi. There is a few other settings like korg ms2000 and other synths but god I just dont freakin know...Ive tried hitting the play button more then once to get it out of midi mode and im lost. Please help.
